Family Law Solicitor

MWG Solicitors is a dynamic and expanding law firm, committed to providing high-quality legal services with a client-focused approach. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our busy and growing Family Law Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of family law matters including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, domestic abuse, prenuptial agreements, and cohabitation disputes.
• Conducting client consultations, providing clear legal advice, and representing clients throughout their case.
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
• Representing clients at court hearings where necessary.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent client care and positive outcomes.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in Family Law (other levels of experience will be considered for the right candidate).
• Strong knowledge of family law legislation, procedure, and best practice.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
• Commitment to delivering a high standard of client care.

Desirable:

• Panel membership (Resolution or Law Society Family Panel) would be an advantage.
• Experience with private and publicly funded (legal aid) matters.
